about me

After years in software and quietly creating for other people, I picked up a paintbrush in 2023 and my chaos found the canvas. Turns out, buried under logic and deadlines was a raw, unruly kind of expression just waiting to surface.

The mantra “Don’t Follow the Herd” runs deep. I played volleyball at Marshall—the Herd—until life threw me an unexpected blessing my senior year. I gave up my scholarship to raise my son. Not the original plan, but absolutely the path. That choice rewired everything, and it’s in every piece I create now.

My work fuses original wildlife photography with bold, emotional painting—honest, instinctive, and just a little defiant. On my 50th birthday, standing in the wilds of the Grand Tetons, an actual herd crossed my lens. Full circle. Off the beaten path—exactly where I’m meant to be.

  • I’d rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not.
